Cottage was pretty good. Drank a lot of beers, ate some mushrooms Saturday night (always a fun time). Nothing majorly exciting happend though, just a lot of sitting around, which was fine by me.

Now the countdown is on until Vegas...6 days and counting.

Its election day today. Voting Liberal. Yes, they've been involved in scandals etc. but the Reformed-Conservative party is too right wing to me. I don't understand how you can cut taxes while still putting more money into health-care and the military?

Most of my friends don't vote, which I can't understand. They say they're all the same\their vote doesn't make a difference etc. But this election could be so close, those votes might make a difference. More than likely it will be a minority government, hopefully led by the Liberals...but there might be enough anti-Liberal sentiment to let the Conservatives sneak in. Hopefully not though.
