Went and bought the wood for the MAME cabinet yesterday. Plan is to cut it all and start painting today! Still haven't got all the buttons and joysticks and everything though. Hopefully this week.

Calgary lost last night in double overtime. Good. Go Tampa! Almost everybody I talk to about this seems to be shocked that I'm not cheering for Calgary because they're Canadian. Who cares? Bah.

Toady is the 60th anniversary of D-Day. It really is unfathomable to think of what those guys must have gone through on those beaches. I hear them talk about it and really have to wonder if I'd be able to do the same. I don't think I could...then again I'm sure many of them probably never thought they had that kind of courage and bravery before the war. One funny thing about all this hoopla though, is that 2 days before, June 4th, was the 60th anniversary of the liberation of Rome. A lot of people forget that by the time D-Day happened, the Allies had been on the ground in Europe for almost a year. Anyways, take some time to day to say a prayer (and I'm not even religious) for all those who served and lost their lives at Normandy.
