Reading my pre-Vegas post, I was wondering if they'd sell beer at the duty free. They did, but it was only 6's of Blue. First of all, why only 6's? All the beer makers are putting 24's of cans in the easy carry suitcases, which would be better for taking on a plane than a bunch of cans. Secondly, all they had was dirty, dirty, dirty Blue. No Canadian, not even any other Labatts products like Labatt Ice. Just Blue. I hate Blue. needless to say, I didn't buy any. Just stuck to drinking MGD down there which is pretty decent, though definitely isn't as good from a can.

Speaking of Vegas beer, at a bar or in the casino, when you're not given a free beer, they on average cost around $4 US. You could go to any convenience store and get 18 cans for $16.99 (why 18? would the extra 6 kill the average American beer drinker?). We just bought 2 cases and a styrofoam cooler, and would just keep going back to the room to get 2 or 3 beers at a time. Saved a few bucks like that. Always better to pre-tank before you hit the town.
