How could I forget to mention that Dan Marino was officially selected to go into the Hall of Fame this year? Sure it was a given that he'd go in in his first year, but still. To my mind, and maybe I'm a bit biased, he's still the best pure passing quarterback. He just never had the supporting cast around him to get the Dolphins over that hump. Christ, look at John Elway. How many times was he a loser until Terrell Davis came along? All of a sudden, they win back to back Super Bowls. Coincidence?
