Finally got around to watching the UFC from last weekend. It was pretty good...only one sort of boring fight. The Couture/Liddell fight was real short, but the knockout was pretty sweet. I like Courture, but I like Liddell even more. The fight with the Canadian guy, St-Pierre (or something like that) was pretty good, kicked the crap out of this lanky bizarre looking guy, Miller. The thing that pissed me off was Joe Rogan constantly referring to Miller by his stupid nickname, 'Mayhem'. "ooh, Mayhem just missed with that punch", "Mayhem is a wild man!", "Mayhem sucked my dick before the fight!". Its not like the guy had some unpronouncable last name. There was some Brazilian guy later who they just called Babalu, and I was fine with that because the guy's last name had something like 8 syllables. But this Mayhem's last name was Miller, very simple to pronounce Joe. Plus, should you really still be calling a guy Mayhem when he's being completely dominated in the fight and is bleeding all over the place?

Of course, since I was watching this I completely missed the Prime Minister's thing on TV. Though for some reason I'm not that bent out of shape about the whole sponsorship scandal as most people. If there was an election tommorrow I'd probably still vote Liberal. Call me a sheep or whatever, I just have absolutely no desire to see Harper and the Conservatives\Alliance\Reform party in control. Harper especially seems creepy. Just look at him:



True, politics isn't a beauty pageant, but he just seems odd. Like whenever he speaks, you think there's some sort of hidden agenda creeping just below the surface. Its pretty much inevitable though that whenever an election is called, the Liberals are going to lose a lot of seats.
