Weekend was decent. Friday my mom and sister went to Buffalo for the night so I had a few people over, sat out on the patio and had a few beers. Saturday watched the finale of the UFC reality show, Ultimate Fighter. It was decent, the first fight was kind of boring with a fairly quick submission but the 2nd fight was amazing. Both guys just stood up, went toe to toe and were swinging like made for all three rounds. It was awesome and both fighters ended up getting contracts, not just the guy who won. The 'main event' with Ken Shamrock was a bit of a disappointment too, he get knocked down and pummeled pretty bad fairly quickly. This weekend is a new UFC preview with Chuck Liddell taking on Randy Couture which should be awesome, though I don't know if I'll be around to see it. My friend was talking about opening up his cottage this weekend and said I could come along, or barring that its my other friend's birthday and he wants to go out to some club in Oshawa. I'm sure I can just download it after the fact though.

Didn't do anything Sunday other than a few chores and then watched the last round of the Masters. Quite the finish. Looked like Tiger might have blown it, bogeying the last two holes, but he made a clutch putt on the first playoff hole to take his 4th green jacket. Its amazing how people can have the balls to criticize Tiger Woods. Has he been as dominant as he was a few years ago? No, but at 29 or whatever he's already had a better career than practically any other golfer ever.

This morning I went for a walk at 5:30am. I wasn't going to get up since I'd spent the night tossing and turning again. I woke up a bit after 5, figured I probably wouldn't get back to sleep again so got myself up. Walked for about half an hour at a fairly brisk pace (brisk for me anyways). Felt pretty good, though near the end I had to walk up a hill which hurt a bit, but I made it. Definitely need to buy some better shoes though if I'm going to do this as regularly. I need to find a watch to wear too, since I had to keep pulling out my iPod to see how long I'd been walking for and whether it was time to head towards home.
