My nephew went back to the hospital yesterday so the doctor could make sure everything is progressing ok. It is, he's fine, biopsy results were a-ok and he just needs to go for some physiotherapy. That's good news.

Then my sister tells me that her prick ex-husband was there too and proceeded to tell her that he doesn't think my nephew should be wearing track pants or Pokemon shirts anymore. In his opinion, he should be wearing jeans and nice shirts, lace-up shoes and maybe putting some gel in his hair. My nephew turns 8 next month. When she finished telling me this I just burst into laughter. Apparently just because the father is a self-absorbed, namebrand-whore asshole, his son should be too. Of course, its not actually like he's offering to pay for any of these clothes, he just thinks its about time he starts wearing them. What 8 year old boy would want to wear that shit? Hell, I'm 27 and I don't even wear anything other than jeans and t-shirts (in my case that may explain some things, but I digress). Put gel in his hair? Why, so he can go out and pick up chicks? Maybe he should start going to the gym too, start working on that six-pack. Thankfully my sister is actually sane and has no intention of doing anything her dickhead ex suggested.
