I know its an unscientific poll and all that, but what the fuck is with this poll at nhl.com:


How the hell can anyone think that Ted Nolan, who hasn't coached in the NHL for years, who is taking control of a team that has become the butt of many jokes thanks to their fabulous owner, giving Yashin a 10 year deal, offering the same to DiPietro, their hiring and firing of Neil Smith, hiring Garth Snow (GARTH SNOW!!!) as GM, etc. How can anyone in their right mind think that the Islanders are somehow going to suddenly become successful? That's just insanity.
