A call I just answered:

Caller: "Is this 800 number toll free?"
Me: "Uhhhhhh, what?"
Caller: "Is this 1-800 number toll free?"
Me: "Um. Yeah."
Caller: "Blah blah blah"

Aren't all 800 numbers toll free? Isn't that the point of an 800 number? I mean its not like I work at some sort of phone-sex operation, its a normal regular business.

Just struck me as odd.
