Some great news about my nephew. Originally my sister thought he might have to miss a few weeks or maybe a couple months of school while healing from his surgery, but apparently he's well enough to attend normally. They've already been to the school to meet his teacher as well as the school's occupational therapist who will do exercises with him while the other kids do gym. He's really doing way better than I think anyone could have guessed. Last night he was showing me how he can run, he's not feeling any pain, is really upbeat and is just generally shocking the hell out of us. Its really amazing how resilient he is. Warms even my cold heart.
