Last night's Leafs\Predators game had to be one of the shittiest refereed games I've seen in a long time, on both sides, not just against the Leafs. Some of the lowlights:
- the full 2 minute 5-on-3 against the Leafs because Kaberle got his stick caught in the glass and held up a guy combined with Sundin giving a guy a face wash which apparently is grounds for roughing in the New NHL©
- Arnott on Nashville got a totally bullshit interference call just because a Leaf, while recovering from a stumble, got up and turned right into him
- Steen gets taken down in what looked like a blatant knee-on-knee hit (though he recovered) but the Predator (don't remember the name) only gets 2 minutes
- The Leafs score to draw within a goal with just under 3 minutes to go, but get called for a shitty shitty hooking call

It was just brutal all around. Fuck you Stephane Auger and Paul Devorski.

Other than the penalties though, the Leafs played a pretty solid game. Sundin's line was amazing, they just couldn't score more than the one gimme goal when Vokoun went flying out of the net (he did it again later, which was odd). Its hard to be too upset with the Leafs considering they won 4 out of 5 on what looked like a pretty daunting road trip. Now if they can just start playing better on home ice, maybe the can push and shove their way into a playoff spot.
