I really, really, really want to believe that winter is over. I want to believe that somehow this sudden bout of warm weather is actually here to stay. That somehow, despite it being only the middle of February, spring is here really early. That all the snow is melting for good.

But no, I know better. I know that in maybe a week or so, the temperature will start dropping again, and then wham! A huge snowstorm will bring all the winter misery back. Is 30 too young for me to start wintering down south?
